The Board of the BFA will have its year-end meeting at the beginning of May. We are now looking ahead to new administrative leadership as well as a challenging political climate. As we prepare for the next academic year, we’d like to hear from members about issues, concerns, and priorities. What issues and ideas would you like to bring to the Board’s attention? Email either Michael Burawoy or Celeste Langan.
In the news last week, the university settled with Sujit Choudhry, former Dean of the Law School, found culpable of sexual harassment against his former assistant, Tyann Sorrell. He will resign from the university after a year’s unpaid sabbatical and making payments totaling $100,000. For more details see below and our weekly digest of news*.
